A pregnancy scan is always such a special time, and a real highlight in the lead up to the birth. However, a 3D / 4D scan provides something quite remarkable; the chance to see your baby in minute detail and start bonding with them, even before they enter the world.
At your 3D / 4D baby scan, you’ll get the chance to see your baby’s face in the tiniest detail, and you can also look at their delicate hands and feet. Watch them sleep peacefully, yawn, hiccup or wriggle around! It’s a phenomenal experience and one that you’ll remember for a lifetime.
Our popular platinum 3D /4D baby scan package gives you the opportunity to meet your baby, and also provides reassurance that they are doing well and are in good health. You can also find out the gender, or choose to keep it a surprise. As part of the 3D/4D package, you’ll receive a USB with high quality photo images from your scan, a video recording on the USB, with all the best moments of your scan to show friends and family and an ultrasound report.

This scan usually produces better results between 24-28 weeks.
How do I prepare for this scan?
A partially full bladder may provide better images for this scan.

3d/4d Scans are non-diagnostic
The quality of the images are dependent on factors such as fetal position, gestational age, mothers BMI, scar tissue and amniotic fluid, which are constantly changing from day to day and are beyond the control of Medison Imaging and its practitioners. We will always endeavor to obtain the best results on the day however If adequate image(s) of your baby cannot be obtained due to such circumstances we may substitute your scan for an equivalent 2D scan OR you can choose to book a 20 minute re-scan at a discounted price of £50.00. Full payment is required at the end of the each appointment which is non-refundable irrespective of scan results.
