At your 3D / 4D scan, we’ll help you to see your child’s face as they sleep peacefully or wriggle around. You can get a close-up image of their tiny feet and hands too. It’s an astonishingly beautiful experience, and one that will stay with you a lifetime.
Our popular gold 3D / 4D scan package not only gives you the chance to meet your baby, but also helps offer reassurance that everything is progressing as it should. You can even find out the gender if you’d like to. As part of the package, you’ll receive a USB with high quality images of your baby, plus 5 B&W prints to put in frames and treasure forever.
Main Objective:
Medison Imaging’s well-being checklist visualising fetal heartbeat, movements of your baby, placental position & determine position of baby by using ultrasound .
Gender Assessment, if requested.
This scan usually produces better results between 24-28 weeks.
For twin/multiple pregnancy we suggest booking your appointment between 21-24 weeks – additional charges apply.

How do I prepare for this scan?
A partially full bladder may provide better images for this scan.

3d/4d Scans are non-diagnostic
The quality of the images are dependent on factors such as fetal position, gestational age, mothers BMI, scar tissue and amniotic fluid, which are constantly changing from day to day and are beyond the control of Medison Imaging and its practitioners. We will always endeavor to obtain the best results on the day however If adequate image(s) of your baby cannot be obtained due to such circumstances we may substitute your scan for an equivalent 2D scan OR you can choose to book a 20 minute re-scan at a discounted price of £50.00. Full payment is required at the end of the each appointment which is non-refundable irrespective of scan results.

We will require details of your GP / Health Care Professional; this will be requested from you prior to or at the time of your scan.
Multiple pregnancy / twins require an additional charge of £30.
